United Lisbon International School

United Lisbon International School (ULIS) was the founding part of Edu Hub, establishing the campus’s operational foundation in 2020. As the first European partner school of Dukes Education outside the United Kingdom, ULIS forms part of an international network of independent schools and educational organisations.

The school delivers an English-language K–12 academic pathway combining a US-accredited curriculum (NEASC candidate status) with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, with its first IB cohort graduating in 2024.

As an authorised IB World School and Microsoft Showcase School, ULIS integrates technology-enhanced learning within purpose-built facilities, including advanced science laboratories, specialist arts studios and a dedicated Maker Space supporting coding, robotics and applied design.

With over 6,500 sqm of outdoor space integrated into the campus, ULIS demonstrates how academic provision, wellbeing and infrastructure can operate cohesively within an urban setting, providing an anchor institution for the wider Edu Hub ecosystem.

Global Learning Hub

The Global Learning Hub provides a turnkey academic base in Lisbon for higher education institutions seeking to deliver international programmes, from short-term courses to longer-term academic initiatives.

Bringing together teaching space, accommodation and campus services within a single, professionally managed environment, the Hub enables universities to operate in Lisbon without the complexity of establishing their own infrastructure.

Located in Marvila, within Lisbon’s eastern innovation corridor, the campus sits between education, industry and research. It supports more flexible models of learning, where academic programmes, professional training and collaboration increasingly intersect.

Designed to accommodate a range of formats — including study abroad, executive education and transnational education — the Global Learning Hub offers a cohesive platform for institutions to deliver programmes, build partnerships and engage with Lisbon’s wider academic and innovation ecosystem.

Campus as a Service

Edu Hub Lisbon operates as a flexible campus platform, providing institutions and organisations with access to academic space, services and infrastructure without the need to establish a permanent footprint.

Lecture theatres, seminar rooms and shared workspaces are complemented by outdoor areas designed for events, receptions and informal exchange, creating a cohesive environment for teaching and collaboration.

This model enables partners to deliver programmes, host events and build a presence in Lisbon, while the campus manages facilities, logistics and day-to-day operations..

Staying on Campus

Marvila Studios forms part of the wider Edu Hub Lisbon campus, introducing a professionally managed hybrid accommodation concept designed to support short- and medium-term stays. The development comprises design-led studio and one-bedroom units operating within a structured hospitality model.

Its operational approach is based on diversified occupancy streams  including international students during academic periods, visiting academics and professionals, and seasonal short-stay guests; helping to sustain year-round activity across the campus and surrounding neighbourhood.

Integrated within the broader Edu Hub framework, Marvila Studios contributes flexible accommodation capacity aligned with Lisbon’s growing education, innovation and global mobility sectors. It operates as part of the campus’ wider “campus as a service” vision, supporting a dynamic and internationally connected environment.
